M1V ( MPEG-1 Video ): MPEG-1, The most common implementations of the MPEG-1 standard provide a video resolution of 352-by-240 at 30 frames per second (fps). This produces video quality slightly below the quality of conventional VCR videos.
MP3 (MPEG-1, Layer 3): MP3s are small, high quality audio files that can be played on MP3 players or software. MP3s can be easily created using a home computer, a ripper program that copies a song from a CD to your computer, and an encoder that converts your music to MP3 format.

What is M1V?
M1V is an MPEG-1 Video Stream. It contains only video related data. MPEG-1 video stream files are normally destined to be multiplexed (muxed), which is the process of adding audio data and perhaps other streams such as subtitles, before use. MPEG-1 stream files are created by demultiplexing (demuxing) an existing MPEG-1, or by converting another video format to MPEG-1.
